An amazing day at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018 #FOS2018 @fosgoodwood…Breathing engines!

A day at Goodwood Festival of Speed it’s time spent breathing engines!

It has been my first time at this amazing event and I was back at home astonished like a child from Disneyland!
I have attended the event on the first day (Thursday 12th) and just arriving at the car parking hill with thousand of car parked, it was already clear that something of amazing was in progress at the top of the hill..and to reach the it the visitors were collected by a special shuttle…a tractor!

As I stepped in the event area, many private super cars were parked, as it was possible to rent a spot to let visitors admire “your expensive jewel”.

Walking along the metallic footboards placed like a sort of red carpet, it was possible to visit every single stand and buildings and as I was there I jumped to the Michelin Super Cars Paddock (watch the gallery)  where the best and most expensive vehicles of the event where shown.

I have been so lucky to have a seat into the $440K Ford Gt  testing the dashboard and having the chance to have a quick chat with the representative of the Multimatic Team, focusing on the car HMI details.

Stand by stand in the paddock, I have pictured the most expensive cars, like the €1.8 Million  Zerouno Duerta and the Nissan GTR-50 by Italian Italdesign Giugiaro, the $3.4 Million Fenyr Super Sport by WMotors  and the hyper fast 335Kph Apollo Intensa Emozione available on the market for $2.4 Million (trust me…I am not lying about the prices of that vehicles!)

Obviously something of more chip was exposed int the paddock, like the Ferrari 488 Pista and Ferrari  Aperta, the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder (and many other of the Lamboghini’s family) and the fastest electric car at the event the NIO EP9.

Nothing has been left behind  at #FOS2018, where a futuristic building has hosted the Future Lab (watch the gallery), where was possible to experiment VR experiences testing cars and the Roborace VR Simulator, or watching by near the back jet pack.

For the first time I have met form near the “super performing” BAC mono seat (watch the gallery)the Roborace (watch the gallery) and the electric F1 NIO and the EP9 (watch the gallery).
