Element combines a car tracker that gathers driving data and an app that shows personalized insights to make driving more efficient and enjoyable.
With Element, users get a detailed overview of their driving tendencies: how many trips they’ve made and when, trips length and duration, time spent on the road, speed range insights, etc. The unique Autoyoga feature helps users hone their driving skills by completing quests.
How Element works
The device connects to the car through the OBD-II port — the standard vehicle data diagnostics system — and collects driving data. The data is then analyzed and transformed into insightful information that can be viewed in the native app. The app is available for iOS and Android.
- Bluetooth: 2.4 GHz, BT4.0
- Inertial sensors, CAN bus connection, GPS for accurate positioning and motion tracking
- 2.6″ x 1.7″ x 0.9″

CAN bus — A Controller Area Network is a standard vehicle bus designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other in applications without a host computer.
Element — a smart car tracker, complemented by a gamified app.
Inertial sensors — sensors based on inertia. Element has an embedded motion sensor (accelerometer) and a rotation sensor (gyroscope).
Locate My Car — a helpful feature for finding your car in giant parking lots.
OBD-II — a standard vehicle data diagnostics system. The location of the OBD-II port can vary by car make and model, so the Element app features a special tool for locating the port in any vehicle.
